Dannaz, Escola Share the Spoils in Six-Goal Thriller

Escola, desperate for points, didn’t waste time, as they scored two quick goals to take the lead. Although comfortable, their past defensive errors remained a heavy burden and a weak point. Dannaz targeted that weak point and forced a penalty, which Obakimi Joshua stepped up to and converted.

The hosts took the lead into the break but surrendered it just minutes into the second. The Escola defense was caught napping as a tap in from close range drew Dannaz level.

The comedy of defensive errors continued as Adeshina spilled a shot too close to Rasheed Jimoh whose header went into an empty net. But Dannaz would have the final say, this time from a cross into the box which was deflected off another player before going into the net.
