Valiant’s Unprofitable Atlantic Invasion Ends with Solitary Point

Valiant could only manage a point as they were held to a draw by Atlantic Business.

The hosts started in fine fashion but it was the visitors who broke the deadlock in the 17th minute. Sabo Seidu was on hand to shoot from 25 yards out, catching keeper Samson Kolo unawares and breaking the deadlock.

It didn’t however take long for Valiant to draw level, with Maleek Sanusi leveling matters from the spot seven minutes later. In the ascendancy, Valiant took the lead five minutes from the half-time whistle as Maleek Sanusi struck again.

Coach Warri Charles’ half-time pep talk paid off as his side drew level in the 54th minute. Both sides went on to fluff a series of chances as they settled for a draw.
