Dino Drop Points Again with Fifth Draw of the Season

Dino’s wait for a first win since January continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Real Sapphire.

Both sides had a lively start to the contest, making goal attempts and finding space to create chances. But both sides remained evenly matched until the 36th minute. A beautifully-weighted pass found Gerald Uzoma. Despite being surrounded by defenders and an onrushing goalkeeper, he controlled the ball and still had time to lob the goalkeeper for the opener.

That lead however did not last long as Dino gave away a penalty after a clumsy challenge. Ibrahim Joshua stepped up and converted just before half-time, restoring parity.

There would be no more goals until the final whistle, as both sides settled for a point.
