Beyond Limits banged seven past Dannaz as they continued their journey to a fourth league title.
Things didn’t start out as they expected as they conceded from the spot in the sixth minute, with Obakimi Joshua sending the keeper the wrong way. Undeterred by the early goal, they responded in kind just two minutes later.
Ayodele Shina’s one-time shot found the bottom corner as the visitors drew level. On the 15th minute mark, the player doubled his tally as Beyond Limits raced into the lead. They never looked back.
Although they paused the scoring until the second half, the reigning champions dominated the game. And they would get the reward for their hard work in the 61st minute as Billyaminu Abdullahi got the third.
20 minutes from time, Victory Iboro was on hand to tap in from a resulting corner. That was the fourth of the day against a helpless Dannaz team. But the best of the day was yet to come.
Adegboyega Lekan, who had been on the pitch the whole time, needed to wait till the 73rd minute before scoring the first of his hat-trick of goals. His 81st and 84th minute goals made his hat-trick one of the fastest in the league.
Seventh heaven for Beyond Limits. A nightmare for Coach Bashiru and Dannaz.
