Beyond Limits Inch Closer to League Title with Dannaz Demolition

Beyond Limits thrashed Dannaz 6-0 to open up a 10-point gap at the top and inch closer to another TCC League title.

The clash began as a lively affair, with end-to-end action in the first 10 minutes. Beyond Limits have two early goals ruled out during the time before forcing a superb save from Abdulazeez in goal. The goalie could however only shut them out for so long as the Ikenne-based side took the lead in the 28th minute, with Bilal Adjagba breaking the deadlock from inside the 18-yard area.

A slow 1st half morphed into a lightning-paced 2nd 45, with Beyond Limits seeing more of the ball and creating more chances. Those chances led to the second goal, scored in the 60th minute from the spot by Yusuf Saka, and a third, tapped into an empty net by Precious Olaniyi in the 77th minute.

Akpabio Mark and Oyeniran Peter completed the goals as the leaders hammered the Cedars in another statement win. The title, more now than ever, is theirs to lose, as they are now 10 points ahead of the chasing pack despite having a game in hand.
