Dino suffered a setback in their race for a Top 2 spot as they were defeated by Broad City.
Coach Gibson’s men got off on the wrong foot, conceding after just 54 seconds of play. Pascal Okoli was lackadaisical with the ball possession, gifting it to Jeremiah. The striker wasted no time in going past two markers before slotting the ball into the far left corner of Nathan Godwin’s goal.
One quickly became two 16 minutes later. Sanusi Hanif stole the ball in the middle of the park from Samuel Asogbon. The resulting play ended with Bakare Ayomide tapping home from close range to double Broad City’s lead.
The hosts would go on to protect their lead as they kept Dino at arms length.
