Dino Demolish Valiant Ranks to Record Consecutive Wins in Enemy Territory

Dino resumed their quest to catch the log leaders with an impressive win over Valiant.

They didn’t look like the away side as Coach Gibson’s men asserted their dominance early in the game. And it was no surprise that their first goal came as early as the 20th minute of the clash.

A well-worked play opened up the Valiant defense, leaving space for James Okpe to run into. The striker wasted no time in dispatching the ball into the bottom left corner of the net to open the scoring.

Valiant looked far from being hosts as they were a distant second behind their guests in the first half. Coach Owolabi’s lads however came out in the second half a better side, creating the half’s early chances.

They converted one of those chances in the 60th minute as Sanusi Maleek snuck behind the defense to convert from close range. But Dino, unshaken by the goal, regained their lead in the 72nd minute as Haruna Jakari’s low freekick evaded everyone on its way into the net. Stephen Ende added a third with an impressive solo run to cap Dino’s dominant performance.

An impressive win for Dino but not the best news for Valiant who have just one home win this year.
