Valiant have found their form, this time away from home, as they registered back-to-back victories on enemy turf with a 2-0 win over Iganmu.
Valiant, after a lively start to the game, broke the deadlock in the 16th minute with Mohammed Usman finishing off a nicely-worked team move and putting Valiant in front. While the visitors pressed for a second, the hosts fought hard to stave off their attack and also get a sniff of the opposition’s goal to register their own goal attempt.
The back-and-forth was won by Valiant as they doubled their lead two minutes from time. Israel dribbled his way through traffic on the left flank before finding Sixtus Elegalam with a cut-back. The attacking midfielder fired a low shot home, extending Valiant’s lead.
Those two goals would make all the difference between both sides as Iganmu continued their wait for a first win of the season.
