Gbagada and Dannaz Share Spoils

Gbagada and Dannaz played out a 1-1 draw, Gbagada’s first since their 2-2 draw in the first game of the year.

The Blue Eagles could not have asked for a better start when Ogundiran put the ball in the back of the net in the first minute. The goal was, however, ruled out after a review by the referee. Delay, in Femi Oguniran’s case, would, however, not be denial as he put his side ahead in the 16th minute.

But the lead lasted only three minutes, with the Cedars drawing level before the 20th minute thanks to Damilola Adebayo’s strike. A quiet end to the first half gave way to a less-intense 2nd 45, with both sides doing little to grab the game’s third. The game’s final minutes fizzled out with little to nothing to show as both sides seemed content to settle for a draw.
