Valiant put Three past Escola to Continue Fine Form

Valiant heaped more misery on Escola as they put three past the hosts.

Both sides had a slow start to the game as there was little to separate both sides. The story however changed in the 22nd minute as Jeffery Ishaku broke the deadlock.

But it didn’t take the host long to draw even. In the 41st minute, Rasheed Jimoh connected well with a cross to head the ball in from close range and level matters.

The second half began with Valiant pressing for an early goal. They would get their goal in the 58th minute after some fine footwork left Escola defenders scrambling. Oyindamola Sanusi went on to finish the play from close range as the visitors raced into the lead.

Escola were caught napping in the 76th minute. Left-back Yekini raced towards goal and sent Chima Chinedu the wrong way to bag Valiant’s third. It’s another loss for Escola as Valiant continue to push their way further from the bottom of the log.
