Late Goals Earn Sporting Lagos Victory at Broad City

Sporting Lagos picked up a second away victory of the year with a 2-0 triumph against Broad City.

The visitors came off the blocks the better side, asking questions of the Broad City defense. In the 28th minute, Fuhad Ojediran drew a double save from Preye Rufus in goal, who kept the visitors at bay. 

Two minutes from half-time, Sporting Lagos threatened again, with Fuhad at the centre of the action. But the half ultimately ended as a goalless one.

In the 2nd half, the visitors upped the ante in a bid to get the opener. And it would come in the 73rd minute, converted from the spot by Fuhad, after the referee awarded a penalty for handball.

In the second minute of stoppage time, Sporting Lagos doubled their tally, with Mansur Mustapha heading home from close range to seal victory for the visitors. The result, a third loss in a row, leaves Broad City with plenty to think about.
