Beyond Limits needed a late goal to get a point in an enthralling clash against Atlantic Business.
It was the visitors who drew first blood, scoring in the ninth minute. Chibueze was on hand to fire past Daniel Aiyenugba in goal as the hosts were caught napping. His would go on to be the only goal of the half as both sides wasted chances.
But they were clinical in the second half, with Beyond Limits scoring first. Ayodele Shina was on hand to tap in from close range after a counter-attacking move. Two minutes later, an unfazed Atlantic Business regained their lead through Uzochukwu Joseph in the 61st minute.
The visitors made it three in the 73rd minute as Peter Mona’s left-footed shot curled its way into the top corner. They seemed destined for a famous away victory until the 80th minute when Bilyaminu Abdullahi converted from the spot. Six minutes from time, second-half substitute, Mogaji Ridwon, levelled matters to settle a keenly contested tie.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Ayodele Adeshina (Beyond Limits)
An impressive performance by the striker who was more than a handful for the Atlantic Business defense.
