Valiant Too Much for Broad City to Contain

Broad City missed out on the chance to move into second spot after losing to Valiant.

The contest started out with both sides playing cautiously. As such, the chances were far and few in between. 33 minutes after kick-off, Valiant raced into the lead as Oyindamola Sanusi was on hand to convert from the spot.

Nine minutes later, it was Jeffery Ishaku’s turn to get on the score sheet. After sneaking past the Broad City defense, he released a shot that caught the back-tracking goalie flat-footed. The ball bumbled its way into the left corner of the net as the visitors took a comfortable lead into the break.

Valiant would go on to add a third in the second half, taking home all three points. The win sees them jump into ninth place as Broad City remains rooted in fourth spot.

The defensive midfielder was at the heart of disrupting all of Broad City’s moves. His composure in the middle of the park also added balance to the team set-up.
