Atlantic Business Lose Steam in Dino's Derby Day Delight

Dino SC handed Atlantic Business a third defeat of the season with a 1-0 triumph over the weekend.

It was however Atlantic Business who threatened to score first, registering their first shot on target in the 6th minute. The hosts grew into the game as the half proceeded, looking to draw first blood. Solomon was however up to the task in goal with saves that kept the game level.

Both sides ended the half with nothing but missed chances to show as the period ended without a goal.

In the 2nd half, Dino stepped up their attempts to score and found the back of the net with their first attempt of the half. Adamu Terungwa intercepted a pass just on the edge of the 18-yard area. He did well to round the defender before tucking the ball beneath Solomon Dominic’s arms for the opener.

Atlantic continued to fight for a leveller. They, however, struggled to convert the numerous chances that came their way, causing them to suffer defeat and put a dent in their quest to catch Beyond Limits at the top.
