But the game only remained level for 22 minutes, after which Sanusi Hanif scored his first of the day. The winger was on hand to tap in from close range, restoring Broad City’s lead before half-time.
In the 2nd half, the hosts upped the ante in a bid to extend their lead. On the 67th minute mark, Sanusi struck again. Sloppy defending by Dannaz gifted the winger ball possession around the 18-yard area. His attempt took a wicked deflection before bundling into the back of the net.
Two minutes later, Sanusi completed his hat-trick, scoring again from inside the 18-yard area after beating Dannaz’s offside trap. His third goal would be the last of the game as Broad City ended the game victorious, rounding off the calendar year on a high note.
