Iganmu remained the only side without a win this season as they fell to Atlantic Business.
The hosts started out the game with a dominant display featuring smooth passes and a control of proceedings. It was no surprise that they got their first goal in the 21st minute.
Iganmu defenders were caught napping in their own third, trying to play out from the back. Onyegbulam seized the initiative, stealing possession just around the edge of the box and curled the ball past Muftau in goal.
Five minutes later, the Iganmu defense committed yet another error, and gifted the ball away in a dangerous area. Onyegbulam was on hand to not only receive the ball, but also thread a pass to an onrushing Richard Ebiware whose shot flew past the goalie into the net.
Iganmu’s struggles were well documented in this clash as they came up short in their bid to trouble the hosts. It was the third time they failed to score and they’re now ten games in the league without a win. Rooted to the bottom of the log, Iganmu have more questions than answers as they approach the half-way mark of the season.
For Atlantic Business, the win sees them climb to seventh , three points off the top half of the table.
