Date: Saturday January 30, 2021
Venue: Agege Stadium
Kick-off: 10am
With the league on hold, attentions would be on the cup competition that will begin at its quarter-finals stage this weekend.
Valiant FC and Iganmu FC will square up at the Agege Stadium for the first leg of their TCC League Cup game on Saturday.
By form, the two sides have failed to win any of the competitive games they have played in 2021 so far. Meanwhile, goals haven’t been the problem for either side in 2021, so it is a game that has goals written all over it.
In what should be an exciting game, the Iganmu lions would visit fellow Lagos-based Valiant FC for the first installment of this match up.
When they met in the TCC League in 2020, the Brave Boys easily dispatched the Lions 3-1 but with the application of the away goal rule in the cup competition, both sides would be wary of that and be at their best defensively.
Despite the poor start in 2021, Valiant are clear favourites for this fixture though Iganmu FC have shown considerable improvement since the turn of the year.
For the neutrals, it is one game that should be captivating and exciting to see on Saturday.

Lukman Ibrahim (Valiant FC)
The forward has been quite profilic in front of goal in the TCC League, scoring nine goals from eight games. If he brings such form into the cup competition, Iganmu FC might be in for a rout.
