Imperial vs Atlantic Business
Saturday 19th February
Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne
Narratives change quickly in football, and these two sides are perfect examples. Imperial, last season’s whipping boys, have undergone a massive transformation, mounting what is a sustained challenge for the title. Lessons well learned perhaps.
Their visitors, Atlantic Business were the glammed up newcomers who flattered to deceive at the TCC Cup, but have bounced back in the league. The form yet remains spotty, but ABFC have shown they can mean business when they go all out.
Both sides arrive this tie in contrasting fortunes. Imperial have just unloaded five goals off their battle cannons on Week 7; Atlantic Business on the other hand come off a paucity of goals, So much for carrying the name of the second largest ocean in the world.
Atlantic Business: DLDL
5 – Imperial have scored five goals in a match for the first time in their TCC history.
