Sixth-placed Imperial welcome ninth-placed Gbagada in what is set to be an exciting TCC League clash. Both sides have endured a topsy-turvy season so far and will be looking to enjoy a win in this fixture.
What seemed to be a good start to the season for Imperial has taken a downward spiral as they have only won one of their last five TCC League games. That run of form has seen them tumble down from 2nd place (after MatchWeek 5) to 3rd spot (after MatchWeek 6) to 4th spot (after MatchWeek 7) and now 6th place.
Having conceded 12 goals in their last three games, Imperial’s defense has been their Achilles’ heel in recent games. And Gbagada will be looking to take advantage of the leaky defense.
The Blue Eagles themselves have endured a bad patch in recent times, with just one win in their last five games.
It’s a case of two teams desperately needing wins to bolster confidence and climb to the top of the table.
STAT ATTACK
