Friday, 2nd December
3PM
Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere
It’s fifth versus second in the first TCC League game of Matchweek 9.
It’s a first meeting between the TCC old timers (Iganmu Tiger) and the newcomers (Sporting Lagos). Both sides, separated by a lone point on the table, will be fighting it out for a chance to close the gap on Beyond Limits.
Sporting Lagos enter this clash with an advantage: They’re yet to lose away from home in TCC League this season. Having scored 11 goals in four away games, they’re no strangers to banging in goals.
But they will face a resilient Iganmu team that has only let in five goals at home this season.
A third home win will be the perfect way to start December for Iganmu. But they must keep a rampant Sporting Lagos at bay – or outscore them? Question is: Can they achieve this goal?
STAT ATTACK
Iganmu Tiger is the only side yet to score a goal from the penalty spot this season.
