Defending champions Gbagada need to avoid a defeat when they face Dannaz FC in their final group A game on Friday to reach the next stage of the competition.

Akinyelu Olajide’s men have been unbeaten in the competition since the start of last season and will be up against a God’s Own Team who have only lost once in their three games this term.

It promises to be an exciting fixture as a win for either of the teams could spell doom for the other and failure to win here for Broad City could hand Imperial a chance to leapfrog them and claim the semifinal ticket.

On Gbagada’s part, they got to the semifinals of the Lagos State FA Cup and they could draw inspiration from that feat to conquer Friday’s opposition.
