Valiant will play host to Beyond Limits at the Legacy Pitch on Sunday. It is one of the games slated for the “Super Sunday” action.

Valiant and BYL(formerly Remo U19) played the first ever TCC game in Ikenne about two years ago and it was Valiant who won 2-1.

Since then though, fortunes have changed for the two clubs, Valiant haven’t hit that great heights again, while BYL have won two league titles and have featured in two TCC cup finals.

On the basis of H-2-H, BYL have dominated this fixture, winning the past three meetings in the league. 

Fast forward to this season, performances on either side have not been good, Valiant are without a win so far, while BYL have just a win to their name.

Following the shock win over Sporting Lagos in the TCC Cup, Valiant should be motivated for this contest against Olumide Ajinolade’s men who also smashed three past Gbagada on Wednesday.

All indices are pointing towards a win for Beyond Limits but if Valiant can dig deep to put up a fine performance, they might be fortunate to avoid defeat against the defending champions.
