Sunday 30th January, 2022
Kick-off: 12PM
Venue: Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere
Winless Valiant will play host to Imperial FC in one of matchweek three games in Lagos on Sunday.
Having finished as runners-up last season, the men in green have failed to build on that as they are still trying to find their shape in the new campaign, while Imperial are a contrast of what they did last season, having reached the semi-finals of the TCC Cup and have a win from two league appearances already.
The Brave boys have relied on the expertise of skipper Ifeoluwa Agboola, who has scored seven goals in a total of six TCC appearances this campaign. However, their porous defence has rendered his efforts upfront irrelevant.
Advantage lies with the visitors as they are better placed at the moment and with more firepower across every area of the pitch to trouble Owolabi Mustapha’s Boys.
Valiant dominated this tie last campaign, winning both home and away contests. However, it’s a different contest this season as the visitors could be the ones to dominate this time around.

Ifeooluwa Agboola (Valiant)
He’s arguably the most in-form player in the league so far and he could be the one to lead Valiant to their first win if given the chance.
