After struggling at home on MatchDay 1, Coach Ajibogun Jagnor’s side will hope to do better when they host Imperial FC this weekend. So far, they’ve scored three goals and also conceded three in their first two games of the cup campaign. With their first win of the cup season coming in MatchDay 2 – against Atlantic Business FC – Iganmu will seek to keep up the momentum when they face Imperial FC.
Imperial, on the other hand, fell prey to the Eagles of Gbagada on MatchDay 2. Now rock-bottom of the table, it’s now or never to start picking up the necessary points for qualification.
Although it’s a first-ever meeting between both sides in the cup, this third-versus-fifth game is one both sides cannot afford to lose.
