Bottom-of-the-table Valiant hosts Imperial in the final game of MatchDay 16.

It’s been a season to forget for Coach Owolabi who has seen his team register just two TCC League wins so far this season. After enduring a bad patch of form in the first half of the league, the second half has not been any better, with last week’s 6-0 defeat to Beyond Limits being one of their lowest points this season.

They will be looking to take advantage of Imperial’s poor defensive form when they face Coach Adedeji’s men this weekend.

Imperial, fifth on the log, have kept only one clean sheet in this campaign. For all their goal-scoring prowess – 8 goals in their last five, they’ve been unable to finish off their opponents, winning just two of those five games.

Now down to fifth, a win can send Imperial as high as third on the table, bringing them closer to the top two sides in the league. They must however score goals and try to outscore their opponents. Or better still, keep a second clean sheet in their last six games.
