It’s 2nd versus 1st as two of the best sides in the league go head-to-head in only the second-ever TCC League meeting between both sides.

It’s a third successive away game for Sporting Lagos who have had an impressive first season in the league. Coach Micah Bello’s side is on an eight-game unbeaten run, dating back to their loss to Gbagada in November. Theirs is a run that has seen them reach the zenith of the league, albeit temporarily during the course of the season.

Beyond Limits currently occupy that top spot, enjoying a four-point lead over Sporting. Their 6-0 thrashing of Valiant last week was just another statement to the rest of the league saying, “Catch us if you can.”

Heading into this game, Coach Olumide’s side will be looking to put more daylight between themselves and the leader of the chasing pack. For the visitors, this clash is another chance to do better than the 1-1 draw they managed last October.
