The opening game of Matchweek 16 action is the crunch clash between Dannaz and BroadCity.

Only goals difference separates both sides going into this game as they’re sat in third and fourth positions respectively, each with 25 points from the last 14 TCC League games.

Still a few points away from the log leaders, both teams will be aiming for the second spot, a low-hanging fruit which Sporting Lagos is currently enjoying. A win won’t see either team overtake Sporting just yet.

However, the winner of this clash will come within one point of second place – assuming Sporting fails to win their clash against Beyond Limits.

The visitors come into this game on the back of two wins (with clean sheets). The two league defeats they’ve suffered this year have come at the hands of the two teams ahead of them – Sporting Lagos and Beyond Limits.

The hosts, on the other hand, will test the defensive resolve of their guests. Coach Fatai’s side have won three of their four TCC League games this year, failing to score in just one.

The last eight combined league games both sides have played this year have produced just two draws – both by Dannaz. Will this fixture also end in a rare stalemate?
