Proceedings resume in TCC League as Valiant host Iganmu Tiger in the first league game since the Christmas break.

The MatchWeek 12 fixture sees the bottom-of-the-table side return to action after losing two of their last three league games in 2022. They looked to have picked up form after registering two wins on the bounce for the first time this season – a 3-1 away win over Dino (in November) and a 2-1 away win over Atlantic Business.

They however followed it up with back-to-back losses at home – against the two sides they had defeated away from home.

Playing at home in their first game of the year, they will be looking to turn their home fortunes around. However, they have to make that happen against an opponent that has lost only one of its last five games.

Both sides need maximum points from this game to start off the year on the best foot. Those points are also necessary to jump out of the bottom half of the log table. But it will come down, ultimately, to who wants it the most.
