Days and weeks have gone by since a ball was kicked, now the TCC League has returned for a final round of games for the battle for supremacy. Both Remo Stars Academy and Imperial ended with identical yet contrasting results at the end of February.
The league leaders won the top of the table clash against Dino SC 2-0 while the basement boys lost 2-0 to newly promoted NNL side Ijebu United in Ijebu-Ode.
With three more match days left to be played, the quest for glory is set to reach its crescendo. Remo Stars, Dino SC, Ijebu United and Gbagada all have a chance to nick the title as the race heats up.
After their exploits in the NLO, Coach Ajibola Olumide’s wards return for the final lap of the league with the intent of finishing at the top. They did beat Imperial FC 3-1 in the reverse fixture and this shouldn’t be an exception.
Imperial practically have their season done dusted as it stands and would like to end on a good form the final few weeks of the campaign. More importantly, Coach Abdulfatai Abdulwahab would be keen to see his boys finish on a high.

PLAYER TO WATCH
Odunsi Oluwaseun (Remo)
He is the heartbeat of Remo’s team and arguably the best player in the league this season. He is the reason Remo Stars are flying high and could single handedly determine the outcome of this fixture.
