Gbagada finished 2022 ninth on the log. They re-start their TCC League campaign with a home game against sixth-placed Dino SC.

Coach Akinyelu’s side have been through all shades of blues this season, with a stuttering start that has now left them in unfamiliar territory. Conceding 13 goals in their last three games highlights where the weak spot lies this season: Inability to shut opponents out.

The Blues Eagles will be looking at Dino’s form and hoping they’re not on their best behaviour when they come visiting this weekend. They will also be aware of Dino’s lopsided run of form which has seen them win two and lose two of their last four TCC League games.

On one hand, they’ll be aware that their opposition have only managed two clean sheets in their last five games in all competitions. With this, they’ll look to exploit the frailties in Coach Gibson’s side.

On the other hand, they tackle a side that they lost to in November last year.
