Escola v Sporting Lagos

Date: 26th Nov 2023

Time: 9AM

Ijebu-ode Stadium

Top-of-the-table Sporting Lagos travel to take on Escola.

The Championship newbies, without a win since MatchDay 1, enter this clash desperate for a win. Their leaky defense has been vulnerable since they started their Championship campaign. It’s been so bad that they’ve only managed one clean sheet this season.

While that’s a nightmare for Escola, it’ll come as good news to Sporting Lagos. Coach Shola’s lads have been in fine form so far this season, losing just once. Having scored in all their games this season, they enter this clash as favorites.

STAT ATTACK

3 – Escola have failed to score in nearly half of their Championship games this season.

MAN TO WATCH

Kingsley Anurugbe (Escola)

His eye for creating chances will come handy in this game as his team will be heavily counting on him.
