PREVIEW: MD7 – Dino SC v Sporting Lagos FA

Dino SC v Sporting Lagos FA

Sunday, 25th October, 2026

Imperial Stadium, Odogbolu

10AM

Sporting Lagos continue their search for a second victory on the road when they face Dino SC this weekend.

Coach Daniel’s boys have been solid on the road, unbeaten since the campaign began. However, it’s been more of draws than wins for the Lagosians. And they’ll be hoping to add at least another win this weekend.

But not only do they have to defeat Dino to achieve that feat. They also have to improve on their recent record against the same opponent. They failed to either lose to or win against Dino last season.

STAT ATTACK

The last two meetings between them have ended in a draw.

PLAYER TO WATCH

James Verneil (Sporting Lagos)

The winger’s pace makes him a nightmare for opposition players.
