Real Sapphire welcome Beyond Limits in the top clash of the round

The last time both sides met in the Championship, Real Sapphire were sitting pretty at the top of the Championship. Going into this weekend’s clash, however, the reigning champions are placed sixth as they try to catch the log leaders, Beyond Limits.

For Coach Olumide’s boys, this clash is an opportunity to right last season’s wrongs. Failing to defeat Real Sapphire last season ultimately cost them the Championship title. This weekend’s game presents the Ikenne-based side a shot at redemption.

Against a Real Sapphire whose form is all over the place, Beyond Limits come into the game as favorites.

STAT ATTACK

The last two Championship meetings between both sides have ended in a stalemate.

PLAYER TO WATCH

Taiwo Olarinsoye (Beyond Limits)

His 92nd-minute winner against Dannaz makes him a potential threat for the reigning champions.
