PREVIEW: MD6 – Gbagada v Atlantic Business

Gbagada v Atlantic Business

Legacy Pitch, Surulere

1PM

Working their way out of unfamiliar territory will be the goal for Atlantic Business this weekend.

The reigning TCC Cup champions have endured a nerve-wrecking start to the season, with just one win in five games. Seven of the 10 goals they’ve conceded this season have come in their last two games. And with just one goal scored in their last three championship outings, the Business Team is doing everything but take care of business.

How will they fare against an unbeaten Gbagada side? Can they withstand the onslaught of an opponent that has scored 11 times this season, with at least two in each game this season? The history between both sides favours Coach Adiro’s boys. Do they however have it in them to leverage on that history this weekend and get that much-needed win?

STAT ATTACK

Atlantic Business have won four of their last five championship games against Gbagada

PLAYER TO WATCH

Habeeb Adeniran (Gbagada)

One of their top scorers this season, he’ll be itching to compound Atlantic Business’ woes with a few goals this weekend.
