Real Sapphire hope to continue their fine start to life in the Championship when they host Dannaz this weekend.

The Championship debutants remain unbeaten in the Championship after two games – recording their first win last weekend against Sporting Lagos. At home again, and with four Championship goals so far this season, they enter this fixture as favourites no thanks to Dannaz’s forgettable start to the season.

Asides failing to score in their last two games, Dannaz have let in five goals. Their goal-mouth struggles in their last Championship game left Coach Adewunmi scratching his head. Rock-bottom on the log, with the worst goal difference in the Championship, all the pressure is on Dannaz in this clash.

STAT ATTACK

5 – The number of goals Dannaz have conceded this season, the most of any side in the Championship so far. Porous

MAN TO WATCH

Adamu Ibrahim (Real Sapphire)

The midfielder put the cherry on the cake by scoring his side’s third. He got the Man of the Match award for his effort and will be looking to replicate his performance in this fixture.
