PREVIEW: MD2 – Gbagada v VOE FA

Gbagada v VOE FA

Sunday, 13th September 2026

Bariga Stadium, Bariga

12PM

A battle for the first Championship win of the season will be on the cards when Gbagada and VOE lock horns this weekend.

The Blue Eagles needed an 87th-minute goal to steal a point in the Lagos derby while VOE fired blanks in their opener. Both sides now come into the game looking to get their season back on track with a win.

Coach Akinyelu’s side may be the home side. However, they failed to defeat VOE FA last season, conceding five times in their two games. Will it be the third time lucky for the hosts this weekend?

STAT ATTACK
