The Champions will be looking to turn around their season after an opening day loss when the Brave ones come to town. The Sky Blue Stars have never lost their first two games of a TCC League campaign, but more intriguing is that Valiant haven’t gone unbeaten in their first two TCC League games since the first edition.
Beyond Limits have a good record on Matchday 2. They have only ever lost once, and it came last season, away to Atlantic Business. Valiant, on the other hand have failed to win a Matchday 2 game since the inaugural season, when they started the season with a perfect record.
Coach Olumide Ajibola would be concerned with how his side allowed three goals on Matchday 1, at Broad City, and will be keen to turn the tide swiftly. They have a good record with home openers, but their only opening home loss came at the hands of Valiant, you guessed right, in the inaugural season. The Brave Boys on the other hand have a 33% record on opening away trips, W1, L1, D1.
STAT ATTACK
4 – Beyond Limits have won 4 of their last 5 against Valiant, including a 6-0 trashing last season.
MAN TO WATCH
Olaniyan Gafar (Valiant):
He opened the scoring for the Brave Boys on Matchday 1, and is an intriguing prospect that Beyond Limits need to look out for.
