Gbagada v Beyond Limits

Legacy Pitch, Surulere

Saturday, 31st January, 2025

1pm

One of the oldest rivalries in the Championship take centerstage this weekend as Gbagada host Beyond Limits.

The visitors, five points clear at the top of the log, come into the game looking for a ninth straight Championship win. And they’re odds on to claim that win in this clash, having won their last five Championship games by a 16-1 margin.

Coach Olumide’s boys may be in devastating form. However, they’ll be wary of a Gbagada side that’s still unbeaten this year, keeping a clean sheet in two of its last three games. Can the Blue Eagles take a bite out of Beyond Limits’ steam this weekend? Or will it be the log leaders steamrolling over the Lagosians?

STAT ATTACK

Beyond Limits have won 4 of their last five Championship games against Gbagada.

PLAYER TO WATCH

Saka Yusuf (Beyond Limits)

Saka can stop scoring at the moment. He’ll be looking to get a goal in a third Championship game this weekend.
