It’s been over three months since Escola won a TCC League game. The newcomers will be hoping 2024 brings them better luck, starting with a win over Gbagada.

If they’re to start on a winning note, they must get it right defensively. The 11th-placed side have only kept one clean sheet in their maiden campaign. They will get their shot at a second clean sheet, but it’s against a side they conceded three goals against in December.

For the Blue Eagles, they’re steadily climbing. Now in eighth, completing the double against Escola will move them closer to the top half of the table.
