11AM

Sporting Lagos welcome Real Sapphire in a battle for third place.

With just one point separating both sides, there’s plenty to play for between the hosts, in third place, and Real Sapphire, in sixth.

Sporting Lagos, unbeaten at home, boast a formidable form in front of its home crowd. The Lagosians will be looking to maintain that energy with a win this weekend. The reigning champions, on the hand, have history on their side, as they remain unbeaten against Sporting Lagos in four Championship meetings.

STAT ATTACK

Sporting Lagos have failed to defeat Real Sapphire in their last four attempts in the Championship, 1D, 3L

PLAYER TO WATCH

Musa Akinfenwa (Real Sapphire)

His coach will be hoping to maximize his dangerous crosses against the Lagosians.
