Valiant will play host to debutants Real Sapphire in the opening match day of the TCC League at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos.

Valiant were underwhelming last season as they finished bottom of the log in the league, but in the cup competition, they defeated Beyond Limits and Gbagada on their way to cup glory. 

On the other hand, Real Sapphire are one of the two teams who just joined the league and they will want to start on a good note. 

The Brave Boys won just three games in the league last term and there will be a desire not to finish in the bottom of the log yet again. As for Real Sapphire, they will be looking to give an impression that they are ready to compete this season.

In all, it will be a good game to watch at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena (Onikan Stadium) on Friday.
