The first game of the 2023/2024 TCC League season will feature the reigning champions, Beyond Limits, going up against Broad City.

Sitting pretty on the throne, Coach Olumide Ajibolade’s men will be targets for 11 other sides as they seek to usurp the title holders this time around. For the visitors, they couldn’t have asked for a better start to their season than a trip to the Broad City.

The hosts have faced the champions four times in the league. And on all four occasions, they failed to get a win. To delve deeper, Broad City have managed only one point in their last four league meetings against Beyond Limits. 

On the flip side, Broad City have won all of their Opening Day games in the league since the 2021/2022 season. Will Coach Ogunmoyero Oluwaseun find inspiration from this to buck the trend this weekend? Or will it end in a repeat of the 7-0 thrashing they suffered on February 27, 2022?
