The month of October has come and gone in the Creative Championship League. It was a great month of football action and standout performers.
Here is a look at the nominations for the Player of the Month and the Coach of the Month awards.
PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Bilyaminu Abdullahi (Imperial)
“Billy” is a fantastic midfielder and current TCC Player of the season. He started this campaign on a good note, scoring his side’s first goal of the season. He was able to lead his side’s charge to the top of the log, contributing a further two assists.
Farouq Ogundare (Beyond Limits)
The midfielder has taken the TCC League by storm this term, scoring three goals in four games in the month under review. Although the champions haven’t been at their best in a couple of games, Farouq has shown the brightest among his peers.
Solomon Agbalaka Chinonso (Broad City)
A goal-scoring defender, who has been impressive in both boxes for the Citizens this season. He won multiple man-of-the-match awards in October and scored two goals. He’s the highest rated defender in the month and deservedly makes this nominees’ list.
Atta Francis (Imperial)
First of two goalkeepers listed for the October prize. Atta has been superb, and just like Bilyaminu, he has been a mainstay of the side. He was the player of the week for MW 4 and has been rewarded for his fine performances with a place here.
Omah Ebube (Atlantic Business)
Ebube distinguished himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the month of October. His best performance came against BYL and he was subsequently named the goalkeeper of the week afterwards.
COACH OF THE MONTH

Olusanjo Olutayo (Sporting Lagos)
Debutants in the TCC League this season, but they have been able to nick valuable wins in their first month. A comprehensive 4-0 win over Valiant and a 3-2 win at Dino SC are the picks of the bunch. Hence, his first nomination for this award.
Adedeji Ayeoba (Imperial)
A former winner of the monthly award and has been able to build on his side’s performance from last season. After the defeat at Dino, they won three straight games to accumulate more points than any other side in the month of October.
Adiro Olayinka (Atlantic Business)
Adiro’s side started the month unbeaten before losing out to Dino in the final game of the month. By and large, it was a good month for the God’s Own Team and their coach.
