The TCC Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned Broad City FC for its conduct on Matchday 16 

The TCC Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned Broad City FC following incidents that occurred during the Matchday 16 fixture between Broad City FC and Sporting Lagos FA on 13th February, 2026.

After Sporting Lagos FA was awarded a penalty and the decision upheld following a DAR review, Broad City FC’s Head Coach, Kazeem Adeyemi, withdrew his players from active play in protest, resulting in a delay of approximately 5 minutes and 45 seconds. During this stoppage, Fitness Coach Babatunde Iman Olowu engaged the Match Assessor with an electronic device to conduct an unauthorized additional review. 

In accordance with the TCC Framework:

1. Head Coach Kazeem Adeyemi has been issued a two-match touchline ban.
2. Fitness Coach Babatunde Iman Olowu has been issued a one-match touchline ban.
3. Broad City FC has been assessed five (5) penalty points.

These sanctions take immediate effect.
