Brave Boys Swamped by Atlantic Business

Atlantic Business secured a second victory of the season with a 2-0 victory against Valiant.

The contest began with the visitors asserting early dominance in the game. But they were made to wait till the 20th minute before breaking the deadlock. A fine pass found Kolawole Odulaja in plenty of space on the right flank. The winger threaded a pass through to Chinomso Onyegulam who side-stepped the goalkeeper before tucking the ball into an empty net.

The goal jolted the Brave Boys out of their slumber as they found their rhythm. And they could have drawn level before half-time but for some fine saves by Uche Kizito who was in fine form. The hosts did not let up even after the half-time break. But for every big chance created, Kizito was on hand to keep the ball out and maintain his side’s lead.

His impressive display would count in the end as the visitors extended their lead in the 90th minute. Captain Joshua Ivwurie’s pass interception began a chain of passes that was exquisitely finished by Michael Olanrewaju.
