The second edition of The Creative Championship Cup will get underway later this month. With
more teams (10) set to compete for glory this time around, this season’s edition of the cup will
take a different format.
In the maiden edition of the competition, the ties were played in a home and away format till the
semi-finals. This time around, the competition takes a round-robin format for the first stage of
the tournament.
The ten competing teams have now been divided into two separate groups (A & B), with the
finalists for last year, Gbagada FC & Beyond Limits (formerly Remo U19) seeded.
Group A
Atlantic Business FC
Broad City FC
Gbagada FC
Iganmu FC
Imperial FC
Group B
Beyond Limits FC
Dannaz FC
Dino SC
Emmydinho FC
Valiant FC
This new format also means a new schedule, which will see the teams play two of the cup ties
at home, while the other two group games will be played away from home.
The two top teams in each group will progress into the semi-finals, where the winners of the
group will face off with the runner-ups in a home and away format, alternatively.
The final is billed to hold at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State and it will be the
season-ending event for the 2021/22 TCC League season.
