Meet TCC LEAGUE’S LATEST MEMBER – Gaiters FC

Gaiters Football Club & Academy was founded in 2025 with a vision to identify, develop, and create opportunities for talented young footballers from Nigeria and across Africa. 

The Club was established as a structured elite development academy, combining football training with education, discipline, and character development, and from its early youth-development programme, Gaiters FC has progressively expanded its competitive and development ambition.

In the first year, the club made its international tournament debut at the Dana Cup in Denmark and a one-day tourney in Ghana, providing our young players with exposure to international competition. The club has also participated in the NLO and President’s FA Cup here in Nigeria.

Today, Gaiters FC is developing a structured pathway across multiple youth age groups, with the long-term objective of becoming a leading talent-development institution that prepares young African footballers for opportunities in professional football while developing them for the Nigerian football ecosystem.

For the 2026/27 season, they will compete in the TCC Cup only, and they have been placed in Group A.
