The action resumes again as 10 teams go head-to-head, over the course of an 18-MatchDay period, for the most points and, ultimately, the TCC trophy, in the third season of The Creative Championship League.
The second season was one to remember, for a number of reasons.
From Beyond Limits winning the league title for a second year in a row, to Imperial managing a fourth-place finish last season months after ending the maiden season rock-bottom of the table, the TCC League brought out the best from all participants.
The league debutants last term – Dannaz, Atlantic Business and Broad City won’t forget the experience garnered in a hurry. They, as well as Iganmu and Valiant, will be hoping to successfully wrestle the title out of the firm grip of Beyond Limits this season.
And speaking of challenges, the league’s new entrants, Sporting Lagos, will be facing a different kind of challenge this season.
The youth team of the Nigeria National League side will be making its debut in the league this season, while Emmydinho bows out of the league after two seasons of participation.
As such, the third TCC League season will still have 10 teams jostling for the league title this season. For Beyond Limits, it will be all about retaining the title for a successive season.
For Dino, they will be looking to do one better than last season’s second-place finish. Gbagada and Valiant will also have the same aim: Gather as many points as possible and get the TCC title.
Welcome to yet another season of the TCC League!
