The final of the 2025/2026 TCC Cup season will see Atlantic Business Square off against Dino after both sides recorded comfortable semi-final wins.
Atlantic Business secured their final spot with a 3-0 victory over Gbagada.
The contest started out as a cagey affair, with Atlantic, despite dominating early proceedings and creating chances, failing to make the most of the situation. They continued pressing for the opener in the 2nd half and got the breakthrough 13 minutes in.
Chinonso Onyegulam was on hand to tuck the ball past an onrushing Samuel Bassey, breaking the deadlock. In the 65th minute, the Business Team doubled their lead thanks to Gbenga Johnson’s sleek move through the Gbagada defense. Gbenga grabbed a second, Atlantic Business’ third, in the 71st minute, thereby securing a first TCC Cup final appearance for Coach Japheth’s side.
In the second semi-final, Dino swept Imperial aside, despite playing in enemy territory.
Both sides began the contest with vigour, hitting the woodwork within the first 10 minutes of the contest. It was Dino however who drew first blood in the 11th minute, with Amos Adzuu finishing off a cut-back from the left.
Imperial pressed for an equalizer but failed to convert. They’d regret those missed chances in the 21st minute as Amos Adzuu doubled Dino’s lead after Adjetey Samuel fumbled the ball in goal. 13 minutes later, Coach Bartholomew’s lads made it 3-0, running a lethargic Imperial over with an emphatic 1st half performance.
Although Imperial pulled one back on the stroke of half-time, it wasn’t enough as Dino,2022 winners, added a fourth to secure another TCC Cup final appearance.
