The race to qualify for the knockout stages of the TCC Cup continues this weekend as all 12 teams fight for a ticket.
In Group B, Iganmu will be hoping to become the first side to defeat Beyond Limits in the competition this season. The Tigers however have a Sisyphean task on their hands, as they’re yet to score in two cup games. But can they make Beyond Limits stumble in its first away game in the competition this season?
Gbagada and Sporting Lagos are the two other teams searching for a first TCC Cup win of the season. While both sides had their MatchDay 2 games suspended, they’ll be looking to return to action with wins against Atlantic Business and Dannaz respectively.
Group A features a tighter race, with three teams yet to taste defeat. Top of the pile is a VOE side that has garnered four points till date. They’ll be eyeing a win against Imperial to continue their fine start to the campaign.
Real Sapphire and Broad City are the two other unbeaten sides in the group. Both sides however are yet to win a game. They’ll be looking to buck the trend this weekend when they tackle Valiant and Dino SC respectively.
